You will be in charge of an aircraft and will have to move from left to right to avoid getting hit and fire at the aliens until you obliterate all them. Sounds simple enough, right? Chicken Invaders, being a simple game, also has very simple controls. For PC and Mac users, all you need to do is use the arrow keys or WASD to move the aircraft and the mouse buttons to fire your weapons. That is all there is to it.

The game play starts off easy enough for you to get the hang of it but of course, each wave gets harder and harder to complete since the chickens, ironically enough, will drop eggs on you which causes you to lose a life. When you have depleted all your hearts, you lose the game. So, it goes without saying that you will need to avoid every egg that will be dropped. On the other hand, when you shoot at the aliens, they will turn into various types of gift boxes which you will need to collect in order to get power-ups as well as upgrades.

When you get the gift boxes, you will be able to upgrade your primary weapon up to eight times to make it into a powerful alien obliterator. Your other weapon is the missile, which is scarce and hard to collect. However, when you are able to collect some, using just one will allow you to vaporize all chicken invaders that are on your screen.

A reason why gamers love playing this game so much even with its simplicity is that it really is just so much fun. You can even play with another friend in two-player mode and destroy all the aliens in this Chicken Invaders game. In addition, you can also have high scores and post it for your own record keeping.
